learn about
the hospice hub
The Hospice Hub was federally incorporated as a not-for profit organization in March 2023. It became a registered charity in April 2025. We provide people in our community with hospice palliative care services in partnership with local healthcare providers. Given the aging population, there is a deep need to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and integrated hospice services to support individuals and their families at the end-of-life or with life-limiting illnesses.
The Hospice Hub provides a range of wrap-around programs and services including Home Support, Day Hospice, Health System Navigation, Bereavement Support, Advance Care
Planning, and Volunteer Training. Our talented staff and volunteers are at the heart of delivering our programs by providing, for example companionship to our clients, respite to caregivers, bereavement support groups, and fundraising and administrative support. Our services are provided free of charge.
We aim to open a community hospice residence in the Perth and Smiths Falls region to provide a welcoming, peaceful, and home-like environment in the next three years. Community awareness and fundraising play a crucial role in supporting the hospice operations.
